I just got what appears to be a large Rose BTA for $25! I am extremely excited, as I currently have a small BTA that I bought bleached and it is coming back to life and showing more color. I want my misbar oscellaris clowns to host in it.

I currently have the rose in the front of the tank with the rock it was attached to, but what kind of flow do they like? It is a 5 foot long tank with a Koralia 4 on the opposite end pushing water towards it. Too much?

I currently have a T5 fixture and the rose was under a VHO fixture. Will this be okay for the rose?

Any other help would be appreciated.

My rbta seems happy with just a little flow, and also went from the sellers vho's to my T5's with no problems

Thanks for the input. Would the K4 five feet away constitute too much flow directed at the nem? The tentacles are waving in the current but not being blown about.

I doubt its too much flow, but only time will tell for sure.

How many bulb's is that T-5? How mant total watt's?
From this view it look's kind of narrow and maybe not enough for a nem.

Does your cleaner constantly harass the nem too? Mine is constantly annoying my rbta. Yesterday I caught it cleaning the nems mouth. Constantly cleans its tentacles.

That is not a rose BTA, it is a long tentacle anemone.
