Rosetta Stone Experiences?

    I've tried Rosetta for Spanish and it's very simple and it seems to have worked to some extent. Supplemental reading and studying while using the software is a must.

    Im taking my second spanish class in college right now, and part of the req. is that we do 16 hours of RS each semester, i think it would be hard to learn if it was just the Rosetta Stone, iv only gotten through the first part of it, where all it has you do is click one of four pictures after they read you a sentance relative to the picture, the part i dont like is that they make it to easy to get the right answer if you can pull out any one word you know, rather then understanding the entire sentance.

    Worth a shot though if you are dedicated to learning it.

    I know a guy who had a pirated version with a ton of languages on it and he learned Thai with it, went to thialand and got married >,

    lol, I don't think it would be very hard for an American to go to Thailand and get married. Wether you can speak Thai or not.. lol

    haha! thats about all the spanish i know and i somehow managed to get a tutoring job with it. working construction in iowa for three summers and you learn a lot of "mexican".

    yeah i can speak it, just my keyboard wont let me do that thing above the O and U and stuff but besides that,,im pretty good at it,i cant speak it fluintly but pretty good
