    Hello,

I am looking for somewhere to store my ro/di water after it make it. Does anyone know if there is any problem with storring it in a simple rubbermade or sterilte plastic container that they sell at wallmart? Would it leach anything back in the water? Should i look for food safe or am i really over thinking this haha.

    Thanks

I use a new (never used on anything else) 55 gallon rubbermaid garbage can to store my water. I keep a small powerhead in there to keep the water moving around. Never had any issues.

I use the gray brute garbage can. Its food safe and won't leach anything into your water. You can buy them at Lowes.

I use a WalMart sterilite for water storage and another one for mixing salt water. No issues after 9 months.

Go with food grade; BRUTE containers fit this bill. They won't leach anything into the water, nor are they prone to getting brittle with age.
