Lol, thanks! Got a really good deal on them too.

That red acan is one of my favorites. Such a brilliant red, the camera doesnt do justice. And it's already chowing down on mysis like no tomorrow.

    Long overdue update

Lots to update. First off, I have a new daughter, Mia Faith. For more info on this, view: http://www.3reef.com/forums/bucket/new-add-must-see-121386.html#post1203571

    Since my last update:

    - Placed most of the coral. All have done very well expect the ric shrooms. I expect the water was too clean for them. My bubble coral also ate an anthias, and a snail. It's my Sarlacc Pit, lol! The few SPS frags are on a DIY frag rack while they encrust and grow out a bit.

    - Change from vodka dosing to BRS biopellets in a modified TLF150 reactor. I'm running about 300 mils, but they seem to be doing a very good job. Modded TLF150: http://www.3reef.com/forums/i-made/diy-tlf150-reactor-mod-bio-pellets-117548.html

    - I'm starting to see alot more coralline pop up on the rocks. Combo of purple and dark green, although the purple spreads much faster.

    - Changed out old bulbs for new. Tank has a bluer look to it, but I like the new look. Old daylight bulbs looked very yellow compared to the newer daylight bulbs, it was shocking.

    Enough talking... PICS!

Thanks John. I owe a lot of what I've learned from you.

Not quite sure what happened. I've read that rics don't do well in LNS environments, and these just sort of melted away. The lighting might have been too strong for them as well?

Can't wait for the purple invasion as well, not looking forward to scraping the glass all the time though, lol.

    Thank you. :)
