    1.021 is on the low side, but not in the danger zone yet. Are you measuring salinity with a hydrometer or refractometer?

    hydrometer but today the LFS measured with refractometer and was around the same

    I ordered a refractometer today

    must people consider 1.021 low, and it is, but still not bad i have known of people that keep theirs around 1.018 with good results, now depending on the size of your tank, and how high you want your sg. to be, need to make the amount of water you r adding quite high to compensate for the volume of the tank. try using the calculator on the main menu of this forum

    wow! man that's a deuce for me but it should
    be fairly easy for you can't be that much, my guess would be that 1gal at 1.025 should bring it to about 1.023 or so and that all depends on the temperature

    Thats not a big deal at all. Mine runs that low somethimes. Just add a higher sg ro at water change time you know what to do.
