I put a couple cups of the cloudy mixture in my tank and it made it hazzy for a day or two. I would remix a batch if it was me.

The second try with the disolved ph I ran for 3 days and it didn't clear up? It has to be some type of chemical reaction?

so i tested the water this evening and found that alkalinity is too high. about 16 dkh. PH reads about right using a kit and calcium was hard to test. I'm guessing this batch of water cant be saved. I'm gonna dump it tomorrow and start all over unless someone can help me fix this. I read about "SNOW" after i did some searches and i don't think this can be fixed easily. Best not to introduce this catastrophe to my system and avoid an even bigger problem down the road.
