Is there any invert that does a good job of turning over the substrate to keep it clean, my chalk goby makes a snow storm, i have got sand all over the rockwork, what about a couple of sand sifting starfish,?

    Thanks...

no i would star away from a sand star if i were you. you goby probably already ate alot of micro fuana.
a sand star needs atleast 70 gallon tank's sand bed to survive unless your feeding it.

usually the removal of all the fuana detriments the bed in the long run.

Ok, so would you recommend keeping the goby or is there anything else?

you may as well keep it, it probably is a better option then the star. atleast the goby you can feed it easily.
its probably the only thing left cleaning your sand.

    maybe worms of some type

For actual sand cleanin tiger tail cucumber's are great...For moving sand around Nasarius snails or some type of gobie.. Althought not many have them.. Horse shoe crabb's when small look like lil bulldozers and keep the sand stirred up to...

    Good Luck..!!!
