I noticed you had hard piped your return.Nice job. I had a friend that had problems with the pvc glue on inside of pipes. As in it may not have compleatly set up. Like it got a skin on the surface and when filled tank it contaminated water. A good rinse is advised. Cool stuff.

 

The instructions are written by a 3 year old! Use RODI water and you will be fine, it don't get much more pure than that!

Casey & Brandon, I actually did something to mine that I was told was not good to do LOL I used a reflective paint under the black. It's this stuff.
Tulip Sparkles Dimensional Fabric Paint - Many Colors I got it at wally world. I used the hawaiian fizz and cotton candy. put them on in an x pattern with a sponge brush, then blended them and the next day covered over that with flat black paint rustoleum I think it was. worked great, plus I keep my Mg a little on the high side.

ok so I should have read all the way back LOL I used that stuff on the glass not the pipes, they're almost all covered in purple and pink coralline all on their own.

Ok I picked up some salt today I have not seen that to many use Seachem Reef Salt but I like their products and I am going to give their salt a shot. I got plenty so no backing out now. LOL
