FWIW to all that has followed and helped with this build. It seems that I have been busy with the Camaro build and said I was breaking this tank down but just wanted to let some of the friends I have made along the way know that I got so busy with the Camaro build and seemed not to have had the time to tear the tank down and sell it. It is still going and the tank is doing good besides needing a good cleaning. I will post some pics when I can get a moment from the car and work for those who are interested just to show it is still around and thriving.

 

Yeah--I'm sure I speak for us all when I say I wouldn't mind some pics.

What kind of Camaro?

 

78 z28 with hurst t-tops. All the body work is done except for the floor pans. Bout ready to start on a new engine. Not sure if I am going to turn the 350 in it now to a 383 stroker or just go with a 400 small block.

 

No way !! My dad had one just like that when I was little!(If google is correct, I have no clue what you said besides the z28 lol!). And by t-top, is that when the two things on the roofs come off? Because that is exactly what he had. That was the coolest car he owned IMO, it was quick too Do you have any pictures of it?
