    if thats live sand its a waste of money. i have a 40 breeder tank and i used 60lbs of caribsea aragonite sand (sugar sized). i would get your rock from reef cleaners as they have some of the best looking rock at a great price imo. you might regret getting that light as you can get much better lights for about the same price. just curious what state do you live in?

    The reason I'm buying the ZooMed lights is because I get 60% off of them at work, and you can't really beat that lol.

    The sand I'm getting is not live; I've heard from several sources that it's just a waste of money. I'll have to give reef cleaners a look.

    Also, I live in North Dakota.

    960 is plenty. I have 1000 in my 40, and my sps grow just fine. Just put them in a spot that gets some direct flow. As far as LPS, really anywhere will suffice. I have some in heavy flow, some in really low flow, and all are growing.
