I can't find my little scouter, and I really like him. He is so cool and I haven't been able to find him all day. He definately isn't the most expensive fish in my aquarium but is about my favorite. I got a new aquarium, I had a true nano tank, a 8 gal Fluval Edge and loved it. My husband got me a 60 gal Solana and it has been really nice with lots more live rock and many more places to hide. I hope he is still there somewhere. Where could he be? Is there anyway to get him to come out? Could he get in the back in the filter? I've looked but I don't see him, any suggestions? I really don't think anything is large enough to eat him. I have a pair of small cardinals, a damsel, a black clown and a fire angel.

well as for the scooter blenny i think he should be fine; the fish arent big enough to eat him, and his probably hiding somewhere in the back. It might take a few days for him to come out, so just be patient for now

Nano tank was up for 8 mths then new tank that I moved him to about a week ago is only a month old. I moved live rock from old tank so I thought it would help the tank cycle. All the water quality perimeters have been good for a couple weeks. He was moving around the tank just like he did in the old tank until I suddenly can't find him.

Does he eat live or frozen food? Was your new tank fully cycled before you added him?

Yes, the tanks was in good shape when I put him in and all the other fish, inverts and coral are doing great. He seemed great until I couldn't find him. I have been feeding frozen herb food 3 days and then frozen brine shrimp one. This is the same thing they were feeding where I got him and they are the best shop in the area. I go past two places to get to the one that has the best rep. The thing I was the most worried about was my clam, I know they aren't as hardy and he is doing great.

This is not true at all!!!! All new tanks need to cycle. You may help it get through faster with an old pump or sand but it still will cycle. Check ammonia and nitrite levels.
