Anyone know how to or if possible to remove some scratches from a glass tank?
Is there an easy way, is there a recommended product?
    Thanks!

it depends on how deep they are. very very VERY light scratches can be removed with a buffing wheel and a buffing compound. However, say to remove a scratch you can barely see, you're looking at 45mins-1 hour of buffing that bad boy to take it out, adjust that time period for anything deeper. Deeper scratches are pretty much a no go in glass. If you can feel it with your finger nail, you're not getting it out.

I even tried 1000 grade sandpaper on some of mine before I put the overflow on. 1/2 way took it out after 45 minutes or so, but even after re-buffing up grades, it left the glass semi-opaque. Sort of like the heat that comes off of the road in summer.

Really, i've tried everything and it never works. It makes no sense to me neither. Because you can scratch it fairly easy but you can't buff them out. It sucks.

Yeah, pretty much. That is why one needs to be very careful with the glass cleaning and with rocks.
