Hey guys I have a 75 gallon tank with plans to upgrade to a 125 in the next year or 2, I am going to be adding a whitetail bristletooth in March, I would like to add a juvenile scribbled rabbitfish at the same time, my other present livestock is flame angel, flame hawkfish, paired black clownfish, royal gramma and fuzzy dwarf lionfish

I've been reading about the SR and know that in the wild they get to be 10" but in captivity they get to around 8"

Thanks to all for any advice or insight you may have :)

Rabbitfish are great additions and very docile. I think if you stay small you should be good for a while!

Why not just wait till the upgrade? IMO I think it sounds slack to be getting rid of fish you already made the commitment to keep.

To be honest I probably wouldn't get rid of the lionfish I've had him for almost 8 months now and have grown fairly attached to him

To be honest I'm not sure why I even made that suggestion, I have edited the OP and removed that comment

If I have to I will wait for the upgrade

The scribbled rabbit is an amazing fish. I have one and have had him for about a month now. They start out really shy but quickly get used to you. Mine will follow the food container back and forth in front of the tank. Be prepared though, they really like to eat.

And what size is your tank? Do you think I'd be ok putting one in a 75?

Mine is a 120......Honestly, I don't think the space requirements are as big as they are with tangs.
