Anyone have experience with sea apples? they look very pretty IMO, so I'm just thinking about 1 for the future. I've also heard they were difficult to keep, so what would be necessary to keeping them successfully?

a very very stable tank! Requires live phyto feeds and does not take to swings in your water paremeters. If they die they are worse then an anemone in wiping out a tank, esp a smaller tank. If it dies in a 25g tank, everything dies, if it dies in a 135g then you still have problems. Definatley not a coral for beginners

It needs to be protected from power heads and intakes also.

I sold mine over the summer because I knew the tank was not going to be stable enough once we got it back up for a while. After the tank broke, I took it into the LFS to hold on to for a while. While it was there it was loosing color and was getting very skinny, I knew my tank wasnt ready so I sold it to someone who was. I love them, but I will not be getting another one for at least a year, even with a 125g
