How are your nitrates and Phosphates? Are your light bulbs getting old? How long do you leave them on and How often do you feed?
All of these can contribute to GHA. Usually adding fish and critters to your tank only takes care of it in the short run. Its like putting a bandaid on an amputated arm, not much good.
Just like Amcarrig said, fix the problem, don't hide it.

My nitrates And Phosphates are good.
Bulbs cant be old, I just bought a brand new light system a month ago. They come on at about 8am then get shut off around 730pm.

And i Only feed every couple of days.

Ive had the tank set up for about 2 1/2 months.
And its just stuck since it was cycling.

I just got some macroalgae for my sump too, that i run opposite 24/7 then the lights

I wouldn't recommend running your lights for that long. That's almost a twelve hour photo-period. In my experience, anything over ten hours just contributes to algae growth.

this varies from tank to tank obviously. I keep my daylights on only 6.5 hours for related reasons.

esp in a new tank I would not keep my lights on that long. When I first got my 75g tank I was so excited, so I turned my lights on for at least 12 hours...even before I put a thing in there! Well shortly I had grass covering all my rocks, sand, walls! It was the worse case of hair algea that I have seen since! It was several inches long and thick!

With the help of a yellow tang, turning lights off for a couple weeks and cutting back the lights to about 5-6 hours all was well
