Try any LFS or PM Tangster to see if he has any. I have always stayed away from seahorses, they are very fragile. They need low to very low flow. Good luck. Luna

yeah i havent tried them yet, um i have a couple lfs's by me that carry them, you can always go to one by you, and if they dont have them, ask them to order you how ever many you want, and they should do it

Look a tank stuffed with algae do not a refugium make. A refugium really won't support much above bugs as with any swamp .. Its just above stagnate to function properly.. Based on my yrs of running a refugium is that is you could keep a sea horse alive in it then the fuge is not functioning as it should..
But I see this stuff around the net about I have fish and shrimps and now sea horses in my refugium then I see I have a refugium and my nitrates are off the charts . This is why I advise anyone to always use a different vessel of some sort to run as a fuge and not mix the fuge into a combo unit with the main sump. But everyone do to suit themselves and it will suit me just fine.. No Sea horse or even a damsel would live long in my stinky swamp :) Its nasty in there ):

And as for a LFS having them in a tank filled with grasses its most likely not being ran as a refugium ? But sea hoses when I was breeding them I kept in a well planted tank and was fed from my main sump with pristine water conditions it was never a fuge , Everything that glitters ain't always gold :)

could a seahorse be kept with a pair of clowns or do they need to be kept in a species specific tank?
