I got about 15 pounds of LR from a guy off of craigslist and it has tons of life on it. I was looking at the rock and noticed little "arms" pocking out. So i pulled it out of the rock and it looks like a brittle sea star but it is very small, each tentacle is about the size of a needle and the head in the middle is about a 1/5 of a cm in diameter. There are 6 tentacles on it and they look kinb of hairy. I have noticed atleast 3 different ones, but im sure there are more. what do you think they are?

Found them on my a new rock i got that came with coral. They havent moved from their hole. They just stick their tentacles out and try and catch lil pieces of stuff. So far, no harm.

Ive been told no. Thye dont grow that big at all. If they did, it would be easier to remove them if you had to. Just keep an eye on them. They are only after detritus and things like that.

YOu may see more and keep them. They won't get bigger but you need/want them in your tank!
