I have a Biocube 14 and i am running a home made media rack in the first chamber. I have Seachem Purigen, and Chemi Pure Elite on the rack. There is not enough space to put the bag of Sea Gel on the rack.
    1. :confused:Would it be ok to put it in the third chamber with the return pump?

Personally, I don't feel that you need it. You are already running Chemi-Pure Elite which has carbon and GFO in it. You're looking to add more carbon and aluminum oxide. This seems like overkill especially on your trace elements.

I don't really know if you can or not. I would just toss it if it were me, but it's your call.

    Hi Crusty

yes you can remove it and dry it and use it later - its good until its exhuasted

but as Tronb24 says - your already good with the chemical media you have and IMO
the choices of media you are currently using is a good one (OK I use Purigen/ Carbon and GFO)

if your happy with the results you have, Id stick with those choices when the time comes around to get them changed / regenerated in the case of Purigen

dont change a winning formula is my philosophy with my tank

    Steve
