I bought a seaclone skimmer shortly after my tank was up and running. Ive had it for about a month now and it doesnt do nearly what it should be pulling out. Even after water changes with tap water, nothing goes in the cup. Ive tried tweaking the air valve in every way, and bubles dont even go into the spout in the cup. Either way, ive herd there nothing but junk so im just deciding to get a new one. Any recomendations? (preferably under $200)

How big is your tank? DO you have a sump? The SWC BMK 150 is the best skimmer <$200 in my opinion.

I would stay away from tap water for water changes. Just going to cause problems down the road.

I've heard great things about Bubble Magus skimmers.
