    It's a 6' 125.

    Thank, Steve!

The cost in them isn't how much you pay for them, it's in their care. They require a lot of time and patience in feeding. (But I paid $100 for a pair). Don't get them without a ton of research.

Excellent advice. All too often people downplay the maintenance and care of their pets, which causes a lot of frustration for those who buy them simply because "they're cute", not to mention the suffering and eventual death of the animal.

This point is so important I just wanted to say ditto to that and WOW nice job with the pics and sea horses! I love that you have them in a nice size tank for them too. Too many people try to keep them in 29's or even 20talls and they do so much better in a bigger well established tank.

Are yours still going through buckets of pods? and which kind if so? copepods?

    Thanks for sharing those pics!

Nick, the lights that were on were one ATI Blue+ and a 44" royal blue LED strip light. Also, the rocks are almost completely covered in coralline in that area.

I've never added pods to the tank. The seahorses get fed frozen mysis twice a day, and the Mandarin pair eats Nutramar Ova. I'm not doing everything "by the book" as far as the seahorses go, but I take a lot of time in the care of my animals. I worry that when pictures are posted that it's an advertisement to get them, but, the more people learn, the better.
