    I got all the plumbing parts. I'll do glue-up tomorrow, then install the new line on Thursday.

    I sltil have a cleanup crew. Snails and crabs can poop too. haha

    My tank is full of copepods and bristle worms. I have 15 lbs of sand and 20-30 pounds of rock.

    Any ideas as of yet?

    That awesome LFS I told you about had pike blennies, they were awesome!

    BTW, not sure if I'm right, but wouldn't a 45* fitting coming out of the reactor better? Doesn't the 90* decrease flow and put back pressure on the reactor?

    Ideally, I thought it would have been better at first too. My old return line (the one this will be replacing) uses 45* elbows instead of 90*s. I do not think it had much of an affect on the flow of the pump and the amount actually received by the display, reactor, what-have-you. It just caused problems when it came to fitting the plumbing behind and into the cabinet.

    I do not know the exact amount of flow the pump is putting out (suggested amount is 450goh at 4' head with 1/2" lines), but the biopellet reactor only requires roughly 100gph through the chamber. If anything, I would think the extra pressure should aiding in the tumbling of media.
