I LOVE the big feather dusters. Are they very hard to keep? Can anyone point me to some pics of them in your guys' displays?

BTW, nice planning seano, cant wait to see the finished product.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
No pretty easy as long as you give them some food. I used just blow off the rock work and stir up the detritus every couple days on top of regular feedings.

Member 2in10 has a feather dusters, so does tank1970 I believe. I do not think I have any old pictures of them specifically.

Hmmm...I really like the tube "anemones", though I do realize the take up quite a bit of space. In fact, now that I think about it, I probably don't have room for it on my sandbed; I have so much rock. :(

I really want the sexy shrimp, but I did notice a few people lately complaining about them eating corals. Starfish said she had a sexy shrimp that ate some of an sps in her 40B. She ended up removing the sexy shrimp from her display tank.

These skunk clowns are the pnink skunk clowns, aka, false skunk (clowns/anemonefish).

I will be getting the coco worm like you say, instead of the tube anemone due to size. I don't really have enough open space on the substate for a tube anemone...

I like my purple. :p It may just take a bit longer to get the money to pay for it. ;) lol

Thanks, Insanespain; It took a while to come up with this stocking list, but I think it will work out well.

    While I was away...(round 2)

I went away for again, for a week this time. I told my Dad a bit before I left what to do, so evaporation was taken care of, the light was left on(during day time) so coraline didn't die off. I actually see an increase in the amount of coraline growth since I was home least week.

Unfortunately, I am in desperate need of a CUC. I have diatoms, GHA, turf algae, cyano bacteria, and some type of green slime, both red and green bubble algae to no end....

Not sure what this green thing is on the pump (poop maybe??)

I can't wait to get the biopellet reactor set up.....

I have what appears to be oil on the water surface.

Still running the skimmer...so how do I prevent this from happening. I know some of it can be removed with sheets of newspaper/ paper towel.

IT does look like you have a bit of an algae outbreak, but it is very normal with newer tanks. Your stocking list looks great BTW and it looks like you did a great job planning this tank. (Stocking, supplies, scape etc.)
