I siliconed the sump last night...not much to it really, just one glass panel. I am re-plumbing a new overflow line today and I will plumb the return line tomorrow. I'll be leak testing the sump tonight.

Here is the new overflow line.

:-/ ::) It turns out the baffle is 1" shorter than what I need for the new skimmer. Ideas, anyone? Could I possibly silicone a smaller piece of glass across the top to raise the water level to 11" high?

I also moved my wavemaker controller to the wall. It was getting too cluttered around the tank.

Here's what the new cabinet should look like.

    Houston, we have a problem.

Someone brought to my attention that my water level will be too high for my filter sock. I need 11" for this new skimmer.

Just lower that baffle next to the sock. Whatever skimmer you are using just make it high enough to cover the water height requirement.

I'll have to wait until the skimmer arrives to actually see how it will work. But the whole skimmer is 12" tall, so I'm assuming it would be sitting on the bottom of the 10g tank with basically just the top of the skimmer and the cup out of the water.
