Lol, if that is the only complaint, then I would think that the product is of good quality.

 

That's it. The few things I mentioned in my write-up were small, and don't make a difference on the skimmer's performance, aside from possibe noise due to an oversized hole for the airline tube. Though fortunately, that doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. I can't hear it and there is no air sucking.

 

Picking up something tomorrow for the tank. What could it be?

Well...was going to get the two skunk clowns at the fish store in CBus...but we spent a bit at the art store while I was down in the short north area [visiting friends] and the rent check hasn't cleared yet. Fish will have to wait another week.

I have that. I need a bulkhead to complete the plumbing.

 

Well you have to make sure the rent is paid lol.

 

Looks like Dad worked his magic. Bulkhead is good as new.


I've got the box installed on the tank.


Mixing 3.5 gallons of salt now. I'll glue the final plumbing while I wait.


How long do I have to wait on the plumbing before I can run water thru it (as far as being safe for the aquarium)?

 

Depending on what you used from a few hour to 24 hours.
