    OK, we are running the sump. I noticed two things already.

    1. The pump is rather loud. So is the overflow box. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to be or I am just not used to it yet.

    2. I need to make the baffle in my sump taller. the Skim Skim does need about 10.5" - 11" water height.

    Is it glass-holes? Mine is pretty quiet. Is the water falling into the box the loud part? Does it have a baffle in it, that helps a lot I think

    Yes, it's a Glass-Holes box. The baffle is in the box. The overflow isn't sucking air. But the noise is actually the water falling into the box.

    Dad wanted to get a fish. But we didn't get any because I have a list if the fish I want and they didn't have them in stock. I did special order the pink skunk clowns.

    Oh yeah. I wanted to get that gorgonia in the picture above as they are non-photosynthetic.The guy said they were filter feeders but still needed light...so I'll wait on that I guess.
