If it was me and the store isn't to far away, I would just bag them up and take them back lol. That is just me though, sometimes I tend to over react lol. Good luck though.

I would do that if the store wasn't 30 minutes away.

I have a 40 min drive to work each way to work 5 days a week. But I don't think that I would want to drive 30 mins to just go to the LFS without calling them first lol. ;D

Not to be a one-upper (okay, so maybe a little bit of one), but my drive to work is two hours each way. Gotta love DC traffic. *Insert vomiting sounds here*

Sorry about your problems though Seano. Hopefully as Vinnie said, they will keep eating and it will go a way with a molting or two. I had no idea about that issue either until he mentioned it...

How they doing BTW? Getting settled in at all?

The 30 minute drive is nothing when you make money(rather than spending it) for going there. lol

Thanks. They appear to be doing OK. They are moving around a bit and aren't hiding. But they seem to have their own little territories they like to stay within. One stays on one of the rocks facing the back of the tank, the other like one of my koralia nano pumps. They've been in those areas all day today.

These aren't quite as active as the last (two) cleaner shrimp I owned though. Those two were all over the tank.

I put in some New Life Spectrum tropical fish pellets. They didn't seem to have any interest in it - either that or they just didn't notice the food all. The snails smelled it right away and came crawling out of the sand.

Hmmmm. Well, keep an eye on 'em and keep offering them different foods. They may just be taking their time settling in though. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they eat, molt, and all is well with the world after that.

Brings up a second point, and one I am not sure on so maybe someone else can chime in. I think there is an appropriate way to dose iodine to help encourage molting. I'm not sure the specifics, but it may be worth your time reading up on (that is unless you all ready know about it). It sounds like if you can get them eating and then molting everything may resolve itself.

Good luck Seano, and I am excited to see this tank grow in the coming months...

I have heard of dosing iodine in some cases like this, though I have to say I haven't looked into it. I'd have to reed up on it before attempting to dose it. I will continue feeding and see where that takes me. Maybe look into the iodine.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm anxious as well.
