Hmm...just called the fish store to see if my order had arrived. They haven't placed the order yet?...they still don't know how much they will cost, and apparently they don't know if they can even get them.

Ordering these has become much more trouble than I thought it would be.

I apologize if I missed it in your thread, but what are you trying to order?

    Nice! A bonded/mated pair I assume?

Have you considered ordering from ibluewater? I drool over their clowns nearly everyday and I just saw ReefMonkey post today that he has been really happy with them.

Those will be awesome though, skunk clowns rock. I hope you can get them quickly.

Ill get a mated pair if they are not too expensive. But I may just get 2 small ones that have been together (will likely become a pair) as that wouldn't cost as much.

Oh, you are right. I actually contacted them about the pink skunks. I forgot to take a look at their website.

Just looked at iBluewater. I found a small Pink Skunk Clown fish (A. perideraion) for $19 and a medium of the same species for $23.

A pair would be a bit over $100. Could I just get the small/medium two, assuming the medium will become the female? Or would this cause aggression?

Came out to $42, but ugh... shipping is still $50.

yeah, good idea on the buying small...I'm no expert, but I don't think it is too difficult to get a pair to bond. I actually plan on doing the same once I get my tank set up, although I will prolly just go the Occy route. I will be curious to see how it works out for you.

ibluewater has some great stuff, but they may be on the more expensive side. Might be worthwhile to contact them though and see what they can do for you.

Thanks. I think it should be interesting.

If it weren't for the shipping I might just go ahead and purchase them this weekend. I'll ask, but I don't know how much they would be willing to budge when it comes to shipping rates.

Good question...I think it is okay as long as they both have not turned female (and usually if you get a small one they are likely still males).

However, I wouldn't take my word for it. I think I have seen Corailline give some advice on that aspect so if you reach out to her she may be able to give you some reliable guidance. Also, you can probably give ibluewater a call/send them an email. I think they know there stuff when it comes to clowns so they can probably advise you too. Can't hurt to have two opinions though :).
