I wish I would have taken a picture with them there. But I freaked out because I had no clue how long they'd been there.

LOL mine do that 2 ill be watching tv and ill hear the shell hit my stand, ill get up, and they will be crawling up my wall, i just put them back in, but as long as they are trying to move around, one thing i do suggest tho is flipping them over so they can start moving, they typically cant last long on the shell like that..

Apparently it happens all the time with rimless tanks. Never knew snails could get over the top frame though.

I'll go flip them. They've flipped themselves over before. Probably a bit more difficult after you've been out of the water for who knows how long.

Sometimes the snails take a while to get specially aware. Tank is looking good though!

You can see nerite snails above the water line all the time in tide pools. I bet they could survive several hours out of water.

Right now it's is just 3 cfl bulbs in clamp-on reflectors in order to keep the corallie algae growing. 1 full spectrum bulb, 1 6500K, 1 daylight bulb.

JB Water weld is hard to work with. Especially when you are working from above and vcan't see what it looks like. ::) :(

It's beginning to cure now. I just need to glue the last rock on the top back right.

I kind of made a mess on the tank trim.

    Guess the next DIY project.
