Some kind of sponge? It's hard to tell from the pictures, but these two things (need ID please) are the same. There is actually a third, but couldn't get a picture of it.

Are those clear? what corals do you have in your tank? I had the same thing only to going out it was a hairy mushroom.

It its what it is and how it should be.

I had the have the same thing (I believe) that is in picture two. Mine occurs mostly in places with little light (and often on the inside of caves). I had it identified recently as a sponge. Was clear and had a very similar structure. Mine has since continued to grow and, though it's hard to see because it's clear, it looks really cool when you look close.

My thead for reference. Does it look the same? (Picture 3 probably is the best picture) http://www.3reef.com/forums/id/what-124501.html

    No corals as of yet.

These are pretty small...maybe 1/2" in diameter? It looks like there is a "ball" shape in the middle, sort of a light gray/green color, with some kind of tentacles (ranging from clear to pink in color)?... No clue. Overall, it appears to be soft, whatever it is.

I can't get a very good picture of it.

Maybe once I finish these, I can get a god top-down shot.

I will be painting them black before adhering the pieces together.

Thanks. I asked for a green polyp birds nest, some King Midas zoas, an orange monti cap, and some GSP (will go on its own rock).

We are going to meet up at a town b/w ours'.

Sweet deal. If you are a reefer like me you will love your orange monti cap. Even though I have many more "expert" rated corals I love my caps. They grow like weeds in good conditions too which is always a plus.

Birds nests are relatively easy to care for as well, correct? I know they grow slower.
