If it is going to be a heavy sps tank, I would probably go with two mp40s.

Sorry, Jefferson. This thread started out as a 75g build. Due to money troubles and many bumps in the road, I went back to the 29g tank I had running and will not be setting up the 75g. I appreciate thee interest though. If you have any suggestions for my tank, please feel free to mention them.

For water flow I have 3 Hydor Koralia nano 425 powerheads.

Can someone recommend a good ATO? I don't want to spend much on it, but I'd like it to be out of the way (so in the tank stand).

I am guessing autotopoff.com would be the most economical?

Yes, I use their float switch with an aqua lifeter pump. It is a great float switch and at a very good price, so yes you should get that one. :)

I have the one that comes with the mounting bracket and two float switches, one main one and one backup. Oh yeah, they are the sump style ones.

Wow, that's $50. If you go to "tubing and mic." you can get all the parts to make that one for $29. lol. I also added a snail guard for $2 more.

Well there's also the power cord, but I doubt it would cost $20 at Lowe's.

    M-S1
    Item # 1" Sump Mounting Bracket -- $6.00

    LOWER
    Item # Lower Float Switch -- $12.00

    UPPER
    Item # Upper Float Switch -- $11.00

    SG
    Item # Snail Guard -- $2.00

    Item Total $31

So the JB water weld didn't hold well to the gsp. It [gsp] ended up falling off the rock onto the sand bed (face-up up, yay. :p) But now it has some more polyps open. Do you think it was too much light where I had it?

I wish i had an answer, but i dont know man. I do know is that i want some gsp now lol. leave it there for a day or so n if it likes it, no point in moving it. well you might move it to a similar spot but better in terms of where it looks good for you.
