    And my skimmer is pulling out lots of gunk now that I have my sump at the correct water height. That's one day of skimmate.

    It's nice. But I don't have the DC8 (got the display cheap). So it just serves as an expensive temp. monitor. lol...

    I am trying to figure out a way to have it work w.o. spending $150 on the DC8. For that price I can replace it with an Apex Jr. I think I will take the display into Radio Shack to see what wire connection it uses and get a corresponding power strip/surge suppressor.
