from what i understand any clownfish will host it. they are just harder to keep alive than most anemones. good luck.

I knew they were harder to keep than most. It is housed in a 55 gal. 48 long and the lighting is a 6 bulb T-5 with a great skimmer and good water. the tank is well over a year old. So it shouldnt be hard to keep. I prefer the Sebae over the other's as they tend to stay put better and longer than most Anemone's. thnx for the input.

Sebaes are still tough to keep. With all the light you have, watch out for high temps in the summer.

well if it'll make u feel better, we had one under stock biocube lights that we thru in, a week after the tank had set up, a year later it was still beautiful, happy and twice the size, we moved it over to the 55 after a year but it was very happy in its little biocube 14 under pc lighting.

they have a rep of being hard to keep but , when westarted off a noobs and didn't know any better we were very sucessful, we just find it amusing now when everyone in the local reef club refuses to believe we have it until they see it and their like OMG lmao.

We always say "this is bob, our sebae that shouldn't actually exist but does" lol
