    Hi

I am looking for a tank seperater, my two clown fish have taken a dislike to my Regal tang after 6 months of bliss :( Does anyone know the best way too do this or can recommend a product.

Ideally i want to get a clear divider so that they can still see each other with out the persistant attacking untill things settle down?

    Thanks in advance

cut a piece of clear plexi and drill holes in it for circulation.stack rocks on both sides to hold it up

I second the Plexiglases with holes, but here is a thought maybe the clown fish have paired up and laid eggs some where and have gotten defensively protecting them , i have a pare of fish that do that.

That is a great suggestion, but the aggressive behavior will still be carried out as the Clowns will probably hang out along the partition moving back and forth trying to get to the Tang. Is there a way that you can remove the Clowns for a little while and then add them to the tank again. This will deter them from having the run at the tank and displaying their boisterous behavior?
    Just a suggestion!

I would be more concerned with flow issues with that kind of set up. It would be more beneficial to rid yourself of the clowns IMO or set up a separate tank for them.

A lot of times this is simply mother nature doing her thing, fish become territorial by nature, they protect their little spot on the reef. Most of the time this can be addressed by simply moving all the LR around or re aquascaping the tank, not saying that it solve the problem, but it's worked for me on several occasions and it always seems like it's the clowns:-/

Thanks for all the suggestions - i think I will have to remove the clowns and change the tank around so that hopefully they can reestablish their territory and stop terrorising my tang!

I have a Heniochus Butterfly Fish which has been reserved for me, I wanted to wait untill the tang gets better but do you think that introducing this fish will help with the problem - or only make it worse??
