    how would i make sure that the snowflake eel is legit, not a honeycomb eel? And i had trouble making a reef tank... but idk im still just learning

    just google the snowflake eel and then google the honeycomb , once you do you'll be able to tell them apart
    I kept hearing about people buyin the honeys as a snowflake and was like .. no way and then a new fishstore opened in my area and he had them marked as snowflakes >,< my trust for that guy hit rock bottom at that point :(

    what other predators are easy to take care of that would be comfortable in a 55g?

    Most puffers would do fine in a 55.

    i wouldnt do a mantis in a 55 it would be a waste of space id do a mantis in like a 10 gallon. i dont know to much about lionfish and there requirments so i may get shunned for saying this but maybe a dwarf lionfish in your 55 along with some equally sized fish

    a 55 is said to be the perfect size tank for a peacock mantis

    A nice 55 gallon FO or FOWLR combo could be a dwarf lion, snowflake eel, a dwarf angel, and maybe a smaller butterfly species. Just remember, the more fish you want, the better your filtration needs to be to sustain them.
