    Thats insane.I agree with checking fed ex or usps.I know overnight is expensive but thats nuts! lol

    Did they ask you for box dimensions specifically? I know they rate certain classes by size, I forget what the rules for 1DA are, but try inputting a smaller box size, like 10x10x10, or 10x10x6 just to see if it makes a difference.

    Try to find the smallest box you can to ship it. It all sent at dimensional weight. You are being charged for an average expected density. If your box weighs less than the figure then you pay as if it weighs that average wight for the box's size.

    Find out what the latest time they will accept a next day air package and try to get there an hour before then with your package. Box it up just before you leave.
