    and just becuse i 1person told u it was ok dont mean it is. when i first got on this site someone told a friend of mine to put a blue tang into a 10 gallon and sell it when i gets too big. gess what his comback was everytime anyone told him to get the tang out

    he said it was ok......

    In a small tank like that, a mantis will kill any fish you put in there. Even if the fish stays off of the sand bed. Trust me!

    my friend had a peacock mantis shrimp in his 300 gallon temporarily and even with that much space and regular feedings his mantis shrimp still killed some of his fish and inverts

    peacock not smiths yet some might not kill a clown goby thanks to there "slime" so bigger fish and animals won't eat it ... but some mantis shrimp are like , THIS IS MY TANK AND I
    WILL DESTROY YOU!!!! LOL!

    I really don't think that a mantis shrimp would care about slime...

    Mantis shrimp are PREDATORS slime will not get in their way :p
    I really advise you not to have a mantis shrimp in any tank less than 20 gallons. They are awesome but a 6 gallon is just too small for them.
