    look into getting a few sexy anemone shrimp. its not a fish but there still cool to watch in nano tanks

    haha thinking the same thing maybe a pompom crab or harlequin shrimp as long as i have some
    sea stars;D!

    I like having fish but i spend far more time watching the inverts. there more intertaining to me

    yeah coral is one of the main parts of this hobby so i guess the inverts are just as awesome as fish!;D

    my LFS has 1.5 - 2 gallon tanks so could i put mangroves and macro algae in them? would it be a good idea?

    id buy the the 20. trust me i have had 4 tanks all still running exept one in the saltwater hobby. gess what one i took down the 26, the 20, 40, or the 4.2 custom tank i build. the 4.2 was imposssibal to keep stabe. and if a tanks not stable the means no inverts or coral, even a fish is qestionable. but i would never put a fish in a tank under 15 gallons


    but for some reason you seem to thinik that u will be saving money doing a tank that small well not relly... so i dont get it. if for some messed up reason u stay with the 5 gallon i would just do ur original idea of 1 clown goby in just the 5 gallon
