    one of mine molted last night , and i left it in also.

    I just looked into my tank, and saw the skin intact on my filter and panicked, thinking my shrimp had died. I didn't know they molted. I felt relieved when my wife pointed him out hiding in a rock. This thread makes me even more relaxed.

    I did the same thing the first time mine molted! It freaked me out!

    I leave the skin in also. I have a HUGE brittle star and a serpent star - the skin is always gone within a day. Don't know who takes care of it, but somebody does.
