    light is too weak for strong growth. higher flow means more compact, less flow it spreads. really though if the nitrates are low, that is probably your limiting factor (there is always one limiting factor of growth according to Liebig's Law).

    Just about any fish under 3 inches will eat pods. Hard to find one that won't, damsels love pods, as do all wrasses, the vast majority of govies and blennies too...
