    There is no point in taking the clowns out, putting them in QT and treating them with copper, because when you put them back into the tank they will probably just get ich again. The ich will still be in the tank, unless you treat the entire tank with copper, which is a bad idea.

    If you want to QT all your fish, then you can do that. Then the ich will die off in two months or something when the tank is left fishless.

    Or you can just hope the fish develop an immunity to the ich.

    Treating the entire tank with copper is a bad idea. You will kill all the coral, inverts and contaminate live rocks and you will never be able to keep coral or inverts again. Treat the clowns in hospital tank and leave the DT fishless for 6-8 weeks. The ich will die off without host.
