    ok so i was looking at my tank this morning and my sailfin had some miscolored blotches on him and it looks like this brown string of stuff coming out of his..... butt. what could this be? is it really bad? i also noticed it on two of my damsels

    I don't think it's bad. My hippo tang has that brown string when he poops, Did you leave the lights on?, fish change color when it's night.
