I have 75 gallon salt tank and it has been up and running mostly smooth since April. i have a yellow tank flame angel a pr of pajamas and a gobie, several snails and crabs and a tuxedo urchin. i did a 10 gallon water change on saturday and a small top off of the tank yesterday, tonight the tang is acting funny. he is hiding in the bottom corner and is pale with his bright yellow stripe showing, i fed them and i dont think that he ate anything, he seeme so almost be struggling to swim. usually he is the king of the tank and i am worried about him. if anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks

What do you have on the tank for powerheads and flow. Also do you have a skimmer on the tank. Tangs require a lot of oxygen and yours may be a little deprived.

Also what are you feeding. Tangs need a lot of veggies in there diet to maintain there color and health. Try putting some dried seaweed on a veggie clip.

Welcome, though I wish it to be on different circumstances....

Get some Garlic Extreme, soak in with your sea-weed (nori) and add to tank. It is said that garlic helps boost immunity. If nothing else, it will help stimulate her to start eating again, which if nothing else is a sign of life

Aquarium Nutrition & Food Supplements: Kent Marine Garlic Xtreme (Extreme)

    Definitely check oxygenation also

    Best wishes man.

Also do you have a grounding probe? Many can be sensitive to the electricity through the tank when you may not be or the other fish!

Since ive had my tang and learned to always had veggies in the tank to eat at all times. There goofy fish and literally anything can make them stressed. How long have you had him for and I second daniel how much flow you have in your tank.
