    How do you guys get rid of hardened Silicon?

    I use one of those old fashioned razor blades with selotape for a handle as it keeps it thin still
    and then I slide this down behind the silicone and carefully slide it along it

    emphasis on carefully

    Thanks, I just pulled the plastic rim off of my vivarium, and it looks nice, but the silicon looks tacky.

    If you keep the glass wetwhile you scrape you won't scratch. A couple of drops of joy in the water is even better. Yea it is a bit messy but better than scratched glass

    I used a razor blade and some windex worked like a charm ;D
