I'm wonder if this is a big deal or not....

I built my sump/fuge using ge silicone I WITH antifungal..... i didnt read the big letters on the front of the tube that said it was in it.:-[

will the antifungal actually affect my tank in the end? Has anyone else used silicon with antifungal in it?

I just built it , its not connected.

    Help!

???..to me silicone is simply silicone! specially if it is 100%, you need to air it out for a long time, maybe set it outside the house full of water for some time, or clean it all up and do it again... really need to find the msds for it and read, read, read...might not be any problem with it!?!?

Man oh man. How complex did you make your sump? I would be tempted to remove the silicone, scrub it down and start over. I have absolutely no experience to base this on.....just a gut feeling.

100% silicone with no additives and aquarium silicone are one in the same.

I would start over, it will probably leech the antifungal germicidal chemicals into your tank. Especially if its stated that it contains antifungal chemicals. Save yourself the future headache of having a sump that kills your inverts and affects your fishes health, just my opinion.
