silicone users

    how are you removing excess silicone from the glass? i got it from overdoing the silicone for my baffles and now i got lots of it everywhere thats not needed. what tool or solution did you guys use ?

    sostoudt is right.

    you could always use gas it take it off vary well but i don't know how fish/reef safe that is so don't do it lol

    Or, if your sump will not be visible just say screw it and leave it be. No point cleaning it up if you will never see it.

    Razor blade is the best but if you plan on cutting some silicone or trimming it then use an Olfa knife or something similar with a stainless steel blade in it!! Stainless steel doesn't scratch glass. A single edge razor will if you trim with it, in other words using the edges as cutting tools. Single edge razor=great for scraping glass. Stainless steel snap blades=great for cutting on glass...
