dunno, 2nd one to just disappear and never show back up, he was eating and seemed perfectly healthy day before. starting to wonder if the murderous bastard zebra hermit doesnt have something to do with it, maybe hes catching them while their sleeping or something

guys at the LFS here said they've never seen one not show for feedings over 72hrs, so basically if you go 3 days chances are their gone

    have you checked the carpet?

Some systems just can't sustain certain things. I have never been able to keep star polyps and they are meant to be one of the easiest things to keep.

hooded nano, nowhere to jump out, was one of the big reasons i wanted to keep him in that tank instead of an open top since I knew they were notorious jumpers

I'll try again with my new 75g when I set that up, 5 fish is enough in this thing anyway lol

yeah I've actually watched my zebra hermit murder other hermits and snails alike, never seen him touch corals or fish but that doesnt mean he's innocent, I think I'm going to yank him outta here and toss him in a vat of boiling butter just to be safe anyway
