    I do also. I think my current swc would work temporarily till I start stocking the tank (slowly). But I would like to start off with right skimmer right out of the gate.

    I'd go with a SRO-4000xp

    I have a 3000sss on one of my 125s and a 2000xp on the other.

    no, its the space saver model. The pump is on the inside of the skimmer housing.
