Hey my old skimmer took a poo on me and I'm searching for afforable skimmers for my 72g Bowfront.

I've looked at other forums and this came up :
Reef Octopus BH 100SS Hang on Back Protein Skimmer - AquaCave

Does anyone know anything about this skimmer?
    Any other suggestions?
I would like to keep it under $200, $250 max

    Thanks in advance

I have an AquaC Remora Pro. It works OK. Not great. I have never gotten thick skimmate out of it. Just dark green water. I was using a Maxijet 1200. When I first started my tak it was pulling out a lot more. Recently it was collecting very little even with the cup all of the way down. I put a Hagan 70 pump on it and now I'm getting a lot more skimmate. It is still watery no matter how high I have the cup. If the cup is high I get less. If the up is low I get more but it is lighter in color.

hey i have the bh-100 and its a great skimmer it really pulls some dark thick stuff out the only thing about it is the big pump that hangs in the tank but i see a lot of good reviews about the bh-100f so i think you would be good with the bh-100ss too
