I have a Coralife super skimmer 220 and it was running fine, but last night when I put in the mag 9.5 and flood my sump, it went crazy. I did unplug it for a few seconds last night and I took out the skimmer pump to clean it.

Now, the foam in the riser-tube (the tube that's in the collection cup) is not stable, it fluctuate about 1" to 2". Any ideas why this is happening? Is it broken?

Also, I just add more sand and it's cloudy right now.

    Thanks!

whew...i thought i had to fork out more money :).

I just had my first and second sump overflow last night. I spilled about 8-10 gal of SW on my carpet. I am gonna take down my sump after the sand settle and cut one of the baffle down 2" to 3" to make more room for future "accident".

    Thanks guys!
