So My problem is i have the super skimmer 125gal. it seems to stop making all the bubbles that occur in the housing. Im sure yall know what i mean. It works for maybe like 10 minutes then theres no more bubbles for it to skim. Any ideas as to why this is happening. i had the skimmer for around 3 years. Thanks in advance...

have you tried taking everything apart and soaking it in vinegar/water mix, clean it thoroughly, and also does your pump seem ok?

I was thinking the pump might just be done. The housing itself cant be broke? It produces the bubbly fizz in the begginning the just fades out. Gotta be the pump. Wouldnt even know how to take it apart but gonna try. if i break it i can just get a new pump right.

The air intake may be plugged from salt creep.

more than likely its the air intake or the ventury blocked with salt creep should be an easy fix

Take it apart carefully and rinse the pump parts. A toothbrush, toothpick or vinegar soak can get the stubborn stuff.

The spot where the air hose connects is where the salt creep builds up. Check to see if the hole is clogged.

ive found with my SS125 , simply by puckering up andd blowing air through the air intake, it will clear the clog. lol. this has worked numerous times for me. if that fails, then taking the pump out and giving it a good clean solves the problem. and its never a bad thing to do anyways. good luck
